Prof. Dr. Melahat Atasever is an obstetrics and gynecology specialist with more than 25 years of experience. She completed her residency at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of Ankara Training and Research Hospital between 1993 and 1997, and served as a specialist at Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital from 1997 to 2013, developing broad expertise across all areas of gynecological surgery. In 2008 she gained international experience at the Gynecology and Obstetrics department of New York Methodist Hospital.

From 2013 to 2019 she continued her academic career as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Giresun University Faculty of Medicine, and in 2016 she completed a six-month IVF training program at GATA Faculty of Medicine. Following her associate professorship, she carried out joint scientific work with academics in the United States, and she has been lecturing at Yüksek İhtisas University since 2019.

Her clinical focus covers pregnancy monitoring, IVF, gynecological diseases, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery and women's health, with a scientific, safe and personalized approach. She sees patients at her own clinic in Çukurambar, Ankara, and speaks advanced Russian and English.
